The Tetra Bladder Monitor System, developed by Urodynamix and distributed worldwide by Laborie Medical Technologies, is a non-invasive diagnostic medical device based on near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) technology platform.

This breakthrough technology provides urologists with clinically relevant information about the health and function of the bladder without the use of invasive catheter-based tests.

An accessory to Laborie's premium urodynamics equipment, Tetra allows non-invasive evaluation of bladder function during voiding to aid in the diagnosis of patients with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS).

  • When combined with uroflowmetry and bladder ultrasound devices, Tetra™ is able to provide physicians with data to develop an effective treatment plan.
  • Tetra™ eliminates the uncomfortable process and potential complications associated with conventional catheter-based urodynamics [1], [2], [3].
  • The procedure is quick and comfortable and can be performed in the office setting.
