Urodynamix Announces NIRS Data to be Presented at 2007 American Urological Association Annual Meeting

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 16, 2007 - Urodynamix Technologies Ltd. (TSX-V:URO) today announced that additional clinical data describing the use of its non-invasive near-infrared spectroscopy (“NIRS”) urodynamics technology has been accepted for presentation at the 102nd American Urological Association (“AUA”) Annual Meeting and Exhibition to be held in Anaheim, California from May 19-24, 2007.

Drs. Lynn Stothers, MD, and Andrew Macnab, MD, from the University of British Columbia, will present clinical study results at AUA 2007. The two abstracts, entitled “Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) Changes in Oxy and Deoxyhemoglobin During Natural Bladder Filling and Voiding in Normal Volunteers” and “Receiver Operator Curves Describing Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) Changes During Pressure Flow Studies in Men With Obstruction,” support the use of NIRS as a reliable non-invasive indicator of bladder function in clinical settings.

Based on the clinical data to be presented by Drs. Stothers and Macnab, and on results obtained in previous studies carried out at the UBC Bladder Care Centre and Toronto Western Hospital, Urodynamix believes that its simple, non-invasive NIRS procedure will provide clinically relevant information that will aid in the diagnosis and influence the course of treatment in men with lower urinary tract symptoms (“LUTS”) and male and female patients with urinary incontinence (“UI”).

Urodynamix has exclusive worldwide rights for NIRS applications related to the bladder, including the diagnosis and characterization of UI and LUTS, conditions that affect approximately 60 million people in North America. The Company is developing an integrated NIRS Bladder Monitor for hospital-based urodynamic evaluation and related stand-alone applications for primary care, and expects its products to be available for sale in the US, EU and Canada in the first quarter of 2008.
