Urodynamix and Laborie Medical Technologies to Unveil URO-NIRS Bladder Monitor at the 2007 American Urological Association Annual Meeting

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 18, 2007 - Urodynamix Technologies Ltd. (TSX-V:URO) and Laborie Medical Technologies ("Laborie") today announced that the prototype URO-NIRS Bladder Monitor will be on display at the 102nd American Urological Association ("AUA") Annual Meeting and Exhibition in Anaheim, California from May 19-22, 2007. The AUA Annual Meeting is the world's largest meeting of urologic professionals, with more than 10,000 urologists and health care professionals and 350 exhibitors showcasing their urological products or services.

In advance of FDA clearance, Urodynamix and Laborie will unveil a prototype of the URO-NIRS Bladder Monitor with Laborie's Urodynamics System as a fully integrated platform. The integrated device, which is currently under investigation and not available for sale, will be exhibited at the Laborie booth in the Anaheim Convention Center (AUA Booth 2700).

Urodynamix is developing the integrated URO-NIRS Bladder Monitor for non-invasive hospital-based urodynamics testing and related clinical applications, including the diagnosis and characterization of urinary incontinence, lower urinary tract symptoms and erectile dysfunction. In May 2007, Urodynamix entered into a worldwide licensing agreement with Laborie to distribute URO-NIRS technology in acute care settings (see news release dated May 17, 2007 for details).

Subject to regulatory approvals and Laborie's launch program, Urodynamix expects the URO-NIRS Bladder Monitor product to be ready for launch in the US, Europe and Canada by the end of 2007.
